We leave tomorrow!

More news as we find Wifi around the globe. Wish us good luck in spotting those nocturnal and incredibly cute-homely kiwi's.

  1. Would have loved the "before packed" photo of living room, it was an amazing sight! Happy trails amigos!

  2. I think Dan R could tell you, from his experience of Gary's living rooms pre-Ellen, ca. 1988, that our living room would pretty much always look like that if Gary's T-chromosome-carried living room gene were allowed its full expression. g is currently napping on the Seatac airport floor, so I can post this with impunity --EK

  3. That's Y-chromosome, of course. Still getting used to the netbook-size keyboard. (Hat tip to Lauren, who loaned us his Acer laptop-netbook, pre-seasoned in New Zealand)

  4. Hope you had a good trip and that you arrived safely! (So what did you decide about bikes? Did you bring them? or rent?) Hey! Careful not to run over any of those precious kiwis! I hear they are flightless and kind of like little chickens! Hey! Maybe you could sneak one back in your pocket and bring home a new sister for Rosita, Blanquita, etc.!

  5. Yes, we took our bikes and have arrived safely and happily. Gary is reassembling the bikes right now. Maybe we will even do a blog post one of these days, once he finishes!
